Best in Show! Olivia the Pomeranian Wins Korea's KKF Championship Dog Show

Some weekends you just don't forget.
On September 5โ6, 2026, the KKF Hanam Korean Championship Dog Show brought hundreds of dogs together here in Korea. When the final ring cleared, the judge pointed at a little orange Pomeranian named Olivia.
Best in Show. The top award of the entire show โ every breed, every group, and she was the one.
Thank you, Olivia and Ga-eun ๐
Olivia comes from one of the Korean kennels we work with, and honestly, we are still grinning about it.
A huge thank-you to her handler, Son Ga-eun. Anyone who has stood ringside knows how much work hides behind those two minutes in front of a judge โ the early mornings, the grooming, the conditioning, the travel. She made it look easy. You both earned this one.

What a Best in Show win actually tells you
If you are shopping for a Pomeranian puppy online, it is hard to tell a serious breeder from a nice-looking website. Show results are one of the few things that cannot be faked.
The KKF (Korea Kennel Federation) is Korea's FCI member body, so dogs here are judged against the same international breed standards used at shows around the world โ structure, coat, movement, temperament, balance. Best in Show means Olivia was judged the closest to ideal of every dog in the building that day. That does not happen by luck. It comes from years of careful pairings, health testing, and breeders who know this breed inside out.
Where our Pomeranian puppies come from
Kim's Pups works hand in hand with some of the finest Pomeranian breeders in South Korea โ the same kennels showing dogs at KKF and FCI events like this one. The puppies we place and the dogs winning in the ring come from the same lines and the same standard of care.
- Handled and socialized from their first weeks
- Vaccinations and health checks completed before they fly
- Bred for the classic Pomeranian look โ dense double coat, compact body, bright teddy-bear face
- Shipped worldwide with all export and quarantine paperwork handled for you
Every country sets its own minimum age and quarantine rules for puppies leaving Korea, and we will walk you through yours โ there is more on that in our guide to what age a puppy can fly from Korea.
Thinking about a Pomeranian?
If a show-quality Korean Pomeranian is what you have been looking for, come say hello. Tell us what you have in mind โ size, coat colour, temperament โ and we will let you know what is coming up.
And once more: congratulations, Olivia. Congratulations, Ga-eun. ๐ฐ๐ท๐
