List of items that should not be left for dogs to chew on!
Hello, this is Kim's Pups, Korea's premier breeder of teacup puppies!

Recently, there was an incident where a dog bit into a backup battery and played with it, leading to a fire in the entire house. Have you heard about it?

The dog, who was diligently chewing on the backup battery, looked both funny and pitiful as it stared at the battery sparking and catching fire. 🤣🤣

However, at Kim's Pups, we couldn't just laugh off this video.

Especially in households with dogs, it's important to be careful that there are no items on the floor that could be dangerous if a dog accidentally bites or swallows them.

For this reason, let's look at a list of things that should not be left for dogs to chew on:

  1. Electronic parts - Especially small parts or batteries. If swallowed, they can cause heavy metal poisoning or long-term damage. There's also the risk of starting a fire if chewed incorrectly.

  2. Medications - Particularly vitamins, aspirin, antidepressants, etc. They can lead to drug overdose or serious health issues.

  3. Cosmetics and chemicals - Perfume, cleansers, detergents, etc. They are highly toxic and pose a risk of poisoning.

  4. Household items - Cotton swabs, tampons, rubber bands, styrofoam, etc. They can block the digestive tract if swallowed.

  5. Coins - Especially those containing copper or zinc, which can be toxic.

  6. Golf balls - They are easy to swallow due to their size but can obstruct the digestive tract.

  7. Bones or small bones - Can get stuck in the digestive tract if swallowed.

  8. Plants - Lilacs, tulips, lilies, dieffenbachia, etc., which are toxic. Swallowing them can cause serious health problems.

  9. Plastic - Especially thin plastic can block the digestive tract.

  10. Toilet paper - Swallowing a large amount can cause blockages.

  11. Threads, strings, cords - Can get tangled or stuck in the digestive tract.

  12. Leather, fabric pieces - Can block the digestive tract if swallowed.

  13. Small parts of toys - Eyes, ears, etc., are dangerous if swallowed.

  14. Bathroom items - Especially items in the trash, etc.

  15. Electrical items - Wires, chargers, etc., can cause electric shock or fires.

Looking at this list, can you understand why dog owners clean so diligently or rush over when they see their dog swallowing something?

However, these owners who react so sensitively are actually doing so because they love their dogs so much.

Dog owners will surely understand this point.

Let's make sure that none of these items, including those on this list, are accidentally within reach for dogs to touch or swallow.
This was Kim's Pups. Thank you!
